WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF:
DROP-IN SUPPORT WORKER ? SENIOR SUPPORT SERVICES
COPE Galway senior support service promotes healthy independent ageing
at home, through a range of nutritional and social supports.
The focus of this role is to be the main point of contact for the
Sonas Drop in Centre and to manage the day to day services and
supports operating from the Centre. The overall role is on promoting
positive ageing, wellbeing and quality of life, and preventing
isolation for those at risk who live independently in their own homes.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* A proven interest, empathy and experience in working with Older
People or with vulnerable populations
* A friendly, welcoming and positive approach and a ?can do?
attitude
* A good standard of education, preferably in the Social Care or
related field
CONTRACT: 2-years fixed term
HOURS OF WORK Circa **Apply on the website** hours per week
ANNUAL LEAVE: **Apply on the website** days per annum plus bank
holidays (pro rata equivalent in hours)
